Build around the shot.

The Inspire 3 pairs a full-frame X9-8K Air camera with a cinema lens package. Choose single-operator coverage or a pilot with a dedicated camera operator.

For fly-throughs and dynamic tracking, discuss FPV as a project-specific option. Aircraft, camera, crew and pricing depend on the brief.

LOCATION, LICENSE & INSURANCE

Start with the exact location.

Airspace, filming permits and property access are separate checks. Send the filming address, proposed launch area and the shots you have in mind.

Review pilot credentials and a sample COI on the insurance & compliance page ›. Project-specific certificates are issued by the insurer; confirm your production’s requirements with Jim.

  1. 01

    Airspace & flight plan

Review needed FAA authorizations, restrictions and the proposed operation. A map or past flight is not approval for a new shoot.

  2. 02

    Filming permits

Identify the authority responsible for the actual filming and launch location. “Las Vegas” does not always mean the same jurisdiction.

  3. 03

    Property & production

Arrange permission for access, launch and landing. Review people, vehicles, weather and insurance needs before confirming the plan.
