Movement that brings you into the scene

FPV coverage for Las Vegas productions.

Area 51 Drones now offers FPV flight services for film, television, commercials, resorts and brand productions. FPV — first-person view — gives productions another way to approach camera movement, from flowing fly-throughs to energetic tracking shots.

Immersive fly-throughs

Explore a space with a connected camera move. Discuss your property, proposed route and visual references so the shot can be planned around the location.

Dynamic tracking

Bring energy to a sequence with movement designed around the subject and the edit. Share the action, pace and framing you want to achieve.

FPV + cinema aerials

Combine the immediacy of FPV with the sweeping views and controlled camera movement of the DJI Inspire 3. Coordinate both kinds of coverage through Jim.

The pilot & aircraft

Custom-built FPV. Hands-on experience.

Our lead FPV pilot has been flying since 2017, with a background in drone racing and building his own aircraft. His FPV setup uses DJI components, and his experience includes assembling, soldering and maintaining custom-built drones.

Built for FPV movement

Custom-built FPV aircraft bring a different approach to camera movement. Our lead FPV pilot’s racing and aircraft-building background supports planning the movement around your shot.

Match the setup to the shoot

Discuss the route, space, action and visual references with Jim. The aircraft, camera and recording format for your production are confirmed during planning.

Coordinate both perspectives

Our lead FPV pilot also has camera-operator experience. For combined FPV and Inspire 3 coverage, Jim coordinates the crew roles and schedule around the production’s needs.

One production. More perspectives.

Build the aerial package around your shot list.

Your production may call for FPV, Inspire 3 aerials, or a combination of both. Jim helps coordinate the coverage, crew and schedule, with a project quote based on the work you need.

Start with the shot

Tell Jim what you’re planning.

  1. Location and dates. Send the property or address, desired shoot date and production window.
  2. Camera movement. Share a shot list, references, subjects and any proposed fly-through route.
  3. Coverage and delivery. Let Jim know whether you need FPV alone or FPV with Inspire 3 aerials, along with your delivery requirements.

We’ll discuss availability, equipment, location access and the flight plan before confirming the work. Need coverage soon? Call Jim to ask about short-notice availability.

Your production questions

Booking an FPV pilot in Las Vegas.

How much do FPV flight services cost?

FPV work is quoted for your project. Send the dates, location, shot list and delivery needs to Jim. A combined FPV and Inspire 3 package can also be discussed. The published Inspire 3 rates are a separate reference for cinema aerial coverage.

Can I arrange FPV and Inspire 3 coverage for the same production?

Yes. Contact Jim to plan both kinds of aerial coverage and confirm crew availability, equipment and scheduling for your shoot.

Can you help with a short-notice FPV shoot?

Call Jim with the location, dates and proposed shots. Short-notice work depends on crew availability and the planning requirements for that location.

Can we film an FPV fly-through at our property?

Send the property details and proposed route. Jim will discuss access, the environment and operating requirements with your team before confirming the flight plan.

How do I request production dates?

Request a first hold and mention FPV in your project details, or call or text Jim directly. A first hold is tentative until reviewed; the final booking is confirmed separately.
