The DJI Inspire 3 cinema kit includes the Zenmuse X9-8K Air, ProRes RAW and CinemaDNG licenses, 18mm, 24mm, 35mm and 50mm primes, 12 flight batteries, charging and video-village monitoring.

For a 10-hour day, the single operator is $1,400 and the dual-control crew is $2,200. Add the $795 DJI Inspire 3 cinema kit for a crew-plus-kit total of $2,195 or $2,995. Additional fees and booking terms are listed in the 2026 rate sheet.
Share the exact property, proposed shots and shoot dates with Jim. Airspace and property requirements are reviewed for the specific production, and the final flight plan depends on the required permissions, conditions and operating limits. A requested location or first hold does not guarantee flight approval.
The cinema package uses the Inspire 3 and Zenmuse X9-8K Air full-frame camera, with 18mm, 24mm, 35mm and 50mm DL primes. Apple ProRes RAW and CinemaDNG licenses are included. Confirm the recording format, lens selection, frame rate and delivery needs during pre-production.
Operations are piloted by FAA Part 107 licensed operators. Area 51 Drones carries $5 million in commercial aviation liability insurance, with a Certificate of Insurance available on request.
A first hold is a tentative reservation of production dates. Select your dates and send a request; Jim reviews it before accepting the hold. A confirmed booking is a separate step.
